LDHS Course Catalog


The Course Catalog is an annual publication developed to assist all students and their parents regarding information critical to academic success in the Lake Dallas Independent School District. Academic programs, graduation requirements, and course selections and descriptions are included in this guidebook. Although this is a primary tool for student registration, we strongly encourage that you refer to it throughout the school year as a resource for questions that you may have concerning instructional programs and courses in LDISD. Academic advisors, teachers and principals are available to answer questions or to explain information.

2026-2027 Course Catalog

Counselors will meet with students each year to assist in selecting courses for the upcoming school year. 

Schedule Changes

Schedule Change Deadline for Fall 2026: August 19, 2026
 
 How To Request A Schedule Change:     Once you have viewed your schedule in Skyward, you will need to reach out to your counselor with any questions or concerns that you may have.  If you are seeking a schedule change please refer to the list below for acceptable reasons.

Reasons for schedule change are:
  1. You have already taken the course you are registered in.
  2. You are requesting a course that is required for graduation.
  3. You do not have a full schedule of classes.
  4. You are double scheduled during a specific period.
  5. You are adding or dropping an Honors or AP course must have teacher approval)
  6. You are adding a sport (must have approval from the coach)   If you are needing a schedule change based on one of the above listed reasons, please complete the schedule change request form found below. 
 
 
If you are adding a sport, you will need to have the coach email your counselor with permission.
