Rose Cutting 2024: May 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM

The Rose Cutting Ceremony symbolizes the Class of 2024 as a unified group. Rose Cutting has typically signified the official launch of final senior ceremonies. Emphasizing the bonds that have been created among the Class of 2024, each student will be given a long stem rose and will enter the ceremony tied together by a continuous ribbon, showing their connection. At the conclusion of the ceremony, each student cuts their section of the ribbon signifying the beginning of their new, individual journey.

We also take this opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our Senior Class through the announcement of the Valedictorian and Salutatorian, as well as recipients of scholarships from participating partners, including the Lake Cities Education Foundation.

We encourage all of our Seniors to join us as this is the last Class of 2024 event held on the Lake Dallas High School campus.
