LDHS CTE Enrollment Data

Over 90% of the LDHS student body is currently enrolled in 1 or more CTE course(s) for the 2023-24 school year.

75.5% of the LDHS student body is classified as CTE Concentrators, students that are/or have taken two or more CTE courses for three or more credits in a specific career pathway.

Over 1000 LDHS students have the potential to earn an Advanced Technical Credit (statewide articulation) in the 2023-24 school year. ATC gives high school students the opportunity to receive credit at participating community colleges across Texas for taking high school technical courses.

LDHS Industry Partnerships

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at Lake Dallas High School is seeking to establish partnerships with local businesses to provide our students with valuable work-based learning opportunities. We are looking for businesses that are willing to engage with students through guest speaker sessions, workplace visits, and student internships, offering real-world experience in their respective fields of study.

Lake Dallas High School currently offers 14 distinct CTE programs, including but not limited to:
